Firebaugh Annual Cantaloupe Roundup: Thursday July 25th-July 28th 5pm-12am

The City of Firebaugh will be hosting its annual Cantaloupe Round Up Festival. With the summer harvest in session, this festival offers guests an astounding amount of activities including carnival food, games, rides, country and classic rock music, and plenty more before school is back in session. Valley Health Team will be participating by offering educational information on diabetes and nutrition as well as offering information on services provided by VHT.

14h Annual Breast Feeding Walk: August 3, 2019 8:00am - 11:00am

Valley Health Team will provide an informational booth at the 14th Annual Breast Feeding Walk and Celebration. The Breastfeeding Awareness Walk event is to increase awareness about breastfeeding and reduce stigma about breastfeeding in Fresno County. The event is free to the public, there will be snacks, refreshments, DJ music, activities, prize giveaways, and free event T-shirts!

Kerman National Night Out: Friday, August 09, 2019

In an effort to promote community involvement in crime prevention activities, the National Night Out program was launched. The Kerman Police Department is proud to be a participant in this program. Come and meet members of the City Council as well as police personnel. There will be police service demos, live DJ, refreshments, games and activities for the entire family, bounce house, prizes and free raffles. Admission is FREE. Valley Health Team will be providing information on services and offering free blood pressure checks. Make sure to come out and join us for a fun filled event!

Valley Health Team 2nd Annual Back to School Health Fair: Saturday, August 10, 2019 10am-1pm

Valley Health Team will be providing a Back to School Health Fair at Granada Commons in Kerman. The purpose of the event is to celebrate the end of summer vacation and the beginning of a healthy school year. A festive day is being planned which includes free health screenings, nutrition and diabetes education, games, food, informational booths and a backpack giveaway.
