Reedley College 2nd Annual Community Health Fair: April 3, 2019 from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Valley Health Team will have an informational booth at Reedley College’s 2nd Annual Community Health Fair. Attendees will receive information on services we provide, nutrition education and blood pressure screenings.

81st Annual Table Mountain Big Hat Days: April 6, 2019 from 9AM-6PM & April 7, 2019 from 9AM - 5PM

The Table Mountain Casino BIG Hat Days, a Clovis Chamber Event, is the largest two day festival in Central California. Over 140,000 visitors fill the streets of Old Town to enjoy hundreds of craft and food booths. Valley Health Team will be providing education on services we provide and nutrition education.
Location: On Pollasky Ave, one block west of Clovis Avenue, in Old Town Clovis between Third and Eighth Streets

Cal-SOAP College & Career Day: April 8, 2019

Central Valley Cal-SOAP will be having its annual College and Career Day, which provides 600+ sophomores, from Mendota, Firebaugh, Kerman, and Tranquillity high schools, the opportunity to learn about college and career opportunities after high school.

Boys & Girls Club Emotional Wellness Health Fair: April 12, 2019 from 3:30pm-6:00pm

In celebration of Boys & Girls Club Week, Keystone Teen Program is hosting an Emotional Wellness Health Fair. It will be an event completely run by the teen leadership group. They will be having fun games, craft projects, an exercise demo, and raffling off prizes. Valley Health Team will be participating by hosting an informational table with healthy tips for teens and adults.

Reedley Easter Egg Carnival: April 13, 2019 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

The city of Reedley offers a community Easter Egg Carnival. A variety of activities will be offered, including face painting, spin art, other games, and information booths. Easter eggs with prizes inside will be given at each game table. Valley Health Team will have an informational booth at the event along with free blood pressure screenings.

West Hills College-Firebaugh College Days 2019: April 30th & May 3rd, 2019 from 9:00am-2:00pm

Come see what West Hills College-Firebaugh has to offer at College Day 2019! Event activities will include: orientation, break-out sessions, campus tour, student service programs, club booths, games, raffles, music and FREE lunch! Valley Health Team will be participating by offering information on different health career paths.

5th Annual Kerman Almond Festival: May 4, 2019 from 9:00am-5:00pm

This festival celebrates local agriculture and the almond industry in Kerman and the Central Valley. Some of the activities include a Fun Run/Walk, Arts and Crafts vendors, Kid Zone, Live Entertainment, Almond Dessert Baking Contest, Wine Tasting and more. The benefit Run/Walk begins at 9am with the Festival beginning 11am. Valley Health Team will providing free health screenings.

Dinuba Fruit & Veggie Fest 2019: May 9, 2019 from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM

The NEOP department is hosting a Fruit and Veggie fest in Dinuba. This event is to promote a healthy lifestyle by consuming healthy foods and increase physical in Tulare County. The event is free to the public and will include a variety of fun and educational activities. Valley Health Team will attend with an information booth with educational tools on healthy eating and physical activity.

Dinuba’s Farmer’s Market: Every Friday starting June 14 to August 2 (except July 5) from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Listen to live music, laugh with friends and family while snacking on fresh local produce. The market consists of a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, child friendly activities, and local venders. Valley Health Team will be at the market providing information on our services and nutrition education.
